Gina Marie Incandela-A story
of hope…. It’s hard to imagine that just over two years ago when 6 year old Gina Marie stood
behind home plate at a Houston Astros Spring Training game it would catapult her into a life of a little vocal star.
This little girl has quite a story. Diagnosed with autism at age 2 and unable to speak until age 3
Gina Marie Incandela is an example of hope and the embodiment of what it means to overcome obstacles.
She is the one of the Nations most popular young National Anthem performers, has recorded
a CD, and has spent the past year singing across the country for various events with artists such as The Jonas Brothers, Demi
Lovato, David Archuletta, All Star Weekend, Jordin Sparks, Johnny Bulford, Drew Seeley, The Naked Brothers Band and Radio
Disney Star, Bre Morgan.
She has been featured on several National TV shows including, ABC News, Inside Edition, The Today Show, Good
Morning America, The Daily Buzz, CNN and CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
Having over 100 performances under her belt since she started performing in 2008 Gina has transformed into
an amazing young star. She has performed the
National Anthem for major sporting events including the 2008 and 2009 US Open and has sung for Major League Baseball, the
NHL and the NBA. This past June Gina distinguished
herself as one of the Country’s most talented and popular performers when she riveted millions with her booming rendition
of the National Anthem during the 2009 NBA Finals.
Gina has been described by industry experts as “the one in a million
voice”. Her vocal talent is immense and
extraordinary. She sings with the power of an
adult but with the purity of heart of a child. She
is as sweet and loving as she is talented and this little girl has already received the prestigious national Daily Points
of Lights award from the Points of Light Institute in recognition of her community volunteer efforts and raising awareness
for various causes. On July 25, 2009 the Mayor
of Orange County, Fl, Richard Crotty proclaimed it to be “Gina Marie Incandela Day” where he described Gina as
“a beacon of hope and inspiration”. Gina
was a runner up for Orlando Sentinel’s “Central Floridian of the Year” along with NBA Allstar Dwight Howard
and an extraordinary line up of community heroes. Most
recently on January 11th she was awarded the Governor’s Point of Light Award by Florida Governor, Charlie Crist.
Gina truly loves to perform
and finds the most rewarding part is making people happy. She
is comfortable in front of massive crowds having already performed in venues such as Shea Stadium, St. Pete Times Forum, Amway
Arena, Minute Maid Park, Citifield, Arthur Ashe Stadium and Dolphin Stadium. As far as Gina is concerned, the more people, the better!
